As I was walking this evening, two ladies who live in the 300 block of South Fairview Street stopped me to ask if we had had any trouble with people trying to get in our sheds. Someone had cut the padlocks on their sheds. They didn't tell me if anything was missing. But they reported it to the police - in fact they went down to the police station and an officer talked to them and took all their information. He told them that about 2:00 in the morning kids wander through the alleys seeing what they can get into. This is a heads up to report any suspicious activity to the police. More reports will increase the police patrol and may lead to apprehension of the possible thieves.
